Each organization is unique and as a result, their data infrastructure will be unique to them. Many large consulting companies have created specialized business practices to build bespoke data infrastructures for their clients. Throughout the i3 journey to build usable data infrastructure tools for more main stream organizations, we have compiled a large set of reference materials which we are making available to fans of our efforts to tackle this growing industry problem.
In addition, we are working on deployment scenarios that overview the capex and opex costs come into play when an organization (1) deploys their IT systems based on a silo-based architecture, (2) deploys a first generation data infrastructure, and (3) deploys a forward-looking data infrastructure such as the i3 System. These scenarios are not intended to be specific to any one company but will instead be posted with sufficient detail to allow an interested company to modify our findings to meet their deployment specifics.
